Medicated-Assisted Recovery (MAR) is the use of FDA-approved medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a "whole-patient" approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.
What is MAR? Our behavioral health services lay the groundwork for lasting change. However, sometimes it takes more than talk therapy to initiate that transformation. Medication-assisted recovery, or MAR, combines pharmacological support with counseling to help individuals struggling with a substance use disorder.
